MotoGP Indianapolis USA, Sirkuit, Hasil FP, Kualifikasi dan Jadwal Race

Sirkuit Indianapolis dibangun tahun 1909 dan dimodifikasi tahun 2007. Sirkuit oval ini memiliki panjang lintasan 4.216 m dan lebar 16 meter. sirkuit Indy (Sebutan untuk Indianapolis) memiliki 10 tikungan ke kiri dan 6 tikungan ke kanan, trek lurus terpanjangnya adalah 872 m. Sirkuit INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY, berada di wilayah Chicago, USA.

Gelaran motogp Indianapolis dimulai hari Jumat malam hingga sabtu dini hari untuk FP1 dan FP2, diteruskan pada hari Sabtu untuk FP3 dan Kualifikasi. Berbeda dengan seri Laguna seca yang hanya melombakan kelas 800cc, motoGP Indianapolis juga melombakan kelas moto2 dan gp125.
 
Dilihat dari Track Record Sirkuit Indianapolis, peluang Dani Pedrosa untuk memenangkan race di MotoGP Indianapolis cukup besar dengan catatan tidak Ndlosor. Selain itu performa Honda RC212V yang sedang berada dipuncak membuat Casey Stoner sebagai Riders Honda yang paling cemerlang di motoGP 2011 menjadi pembalap pesaing terberat Dani Pedrosa. Juara bertahan Jorge Lorenzo dan Ben Spies dipastikan berjuang keras memenangkan seri ini, terlebih Ben Spies merupakan tuan rumah seri motoGP Indy. Lorenzo menggunakan mesin M1 yang telah terupgrade di seri ini.
